Reel Handling with double clamping motorized attachment

New from Packline Materials Handling is the double clamping vertical spindle attachment with geared rotation, designed for lifting and handling reels of material that ‘telescope’ easily.
The double clamping feature prevents the reels from telescoping keeping the roll of material intact. Manufactured from stainless steel, this reel handling solution is suitable for clean room environments, for example in the food, drinks, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
The attachment’s clamping attachment is designed using non-marking rubber pads to ensure that the roll of material is not marked or damaged during handling.
The geared rotation feature of the motorized clamp attachment enables the reels of material to be re-orientated easily and safely.
• Reels can now be held securely without the risk of telescoping.
• Non marking rubber pads ensure that the roll material is not damaged.
• Geared rotation makes it easy to re-orientate the roll safely.
• Max capacity 75kg
• Maximum reel diameter 750mm
• Minimum reel diameter 250mm
• Minimum reel width 190mm

Reel Lifting and Handling Equipment with Heavy Duty Cradle Attachment

The heavy duty stainless steel cradle attachment for lifting rolls of material has been designed to lift and transport reels or rolls of material by supporting mandrels positioned through the reel's core.

This lifting solution is suitable for handling rolls of material where the roll’s core needs to be free for the mandrel insertion. This roll handling attachment lifts and lowers reels that can be handled with the mandrel inserted and where no re-orientation is required.
The Roll Handling Cradle Attachment is suitable for lifting and lowering rolls of material where the roll’s mandrel is already inserted. In this situation the rolls cannot be handled via the roll’s core by means of a standard spindle attachment.
The Cradle Attachment has been designed to lift and transport reels or rolls of material by supporting mandrels positioned through the reel's core.

Constructed from aluminium and stainless steel, the cradle attachment is suitable for hygienic and clean room applications.
