Stainless Steel Tray and Trolleys

A bespoke solution, designed and manufactured to order, the single trolley is a stainless steel 304 clean room trolley designed to handle up to 9 reels at a time.

The trolleys have brakes castors to ensure that the trolley does not move when the reels are unwound.

The reels are loaded from the warehouse in the vertical and transported to the clean room area.  The open sides and meshed based are to aid cleaning.

The three pronged trolley is designed to hold three reels up to 1.2m in length.  The trolley holds the reels which can be manually loaded or unloaded using a spindle attachment on a standard ‘Compac’ lifter. The reels are then left in place and unwound.

The ‘Compac’ lifting solution, with tray and special vertical spindle attachments, is used to rewind the reel back on to the core of the reel.

The operator secures the core of the reel on to the spindle and once secure uses the torque wrench to rewind the polythene film back on to the reel.

Once rewound the reel can then be rotated to the vertical and placed in a disposal bin or storage area.

Reel Lifting Equipment with Double Clamping Attachment

Some types of reels can telescope easily when handled using the core only. To resolve this handling issue Packline has designed the double clamping vertical spindle for lifting via the core as well as the clamping the outside of the reel.

The double clamping vertical spindle allows the operator to lift and rotate reels of material using the core with the vertical spindle, but also clamp the diameter of the reel with two adjustable clamps.

The clamps are easy to use and prevent any telescoping of the material on the reel. This mechanism uses torque units to ensure the reel’s material is not damaged whilst being handled, but also to ensure sufficient grip is applied.

‘Bolt on’ options are also available to cater for a variety of reels, telescoping and non-telescoping.
