Lifting and Handling Equipment for Tooling with Adjustable Twin Spindle Attachment

The lifting equipment with adjustable twin spindle lifting attachment is designed to handle different die widths for this bespoke application.

Each attachment arm is designed to support the edge or lip of the die. Other items can also be handled using this application, such as tooling, cartons or boxes.

This bespoke twin spindle attachment is designed with adjustable arms. The arms are adjusted using a crank handle on the side, a screw and a guide bar. The arms move in synch with each other, inwards or outwards.

This design can be tailored to suit the lifting and handling requirements by changing the arm lengths, widths and adjustments as required.

Specifications:

Maximum Capacity: 35kg (77.16lbs approx.)

Widths: Up to 870mm (34.25 inches approx.)

Attachment Mass: 20kg approx. (44.1lbs approx.)

‘CLE’ Clamp Attachment for Handling Large Reels

The ‘CLE’ clamp attachment has been designed with very large reels in mind. The need to lift larger reels is becoming a more frequent requirement.

This lifting clamp attachment uses two linear actuators which are driven in synch with each other to clamp or unclamp the arms. These are available as a 12v or 24v solution.

The natural rubber pads on the clamp arms ensure that the reel is not damaged in any way during the operation.

The actuators have built-in torque units meaning the arms cannot be over-clamped, causing damage to the reel.

Springs have been fitted to the attachment arm pads to stop them from swinging freely when not in use. On lifting the reel or load the springs extend. When the reel is released, the springs contract to return the clamp attachment to its resting position.

Specifications:

Maximum Capacity: 450kg (992.08lbs approx.)

Load Centre: 855mm from front of column (33.66 inches approx.)

Attachment Mass: 150kg (330.69lbs approx.)

Minimum Reel Diameter: 250mm (9.84 inches approx.)

Maximum Reel Diameter: 1200mm (47.24 inches approx.)

Main Materials: Stainless Steel 304, Aluminium 6082/T6, Delrin, Polypropylene, Brass, Phosphor Bronze.

Bespoke Stainless Steel Lifting Equipment for Exhausts

New to Packline is the stainless steel bespoke tilting exhaust lifting equipment. This lifter is suitable for the specialised automotive industry; specifically designed to cradle the exhaust which is split into three parts, for the operators to then assemble and fit to the vehicles.

The exhaust lifting attachment is manufactured to tilt up to 10 degrees allowing for precise fitting by operators during the hand-built process.

An adjustable length arm on the lifting attachment allows for the customer to adjust to a specific size exhaust. The adjustable arm is secured using two star knobs to tighten down to the main attachment arm.

The support blocks allow the customer to precisely set up the attachment to cradle the exhaust creating certain datum points so that when the exhaust is first loaded onto the attachment, positioning is always constant.

Tilting Exhaust Lifting Equipment Specifications:

Maximum Capacity: 40kg (88.19lbs approx.)

Load Centre: 225mm (8.86 inches approx.) from front of column

Exhaust Length: approx. 3m (9.84ft approx.)

Attachment mass: 48.5kg (106.92lbs approx.)
