Coil Lifting and Handling with Internal Core Gripper Lifting Attachment

The internal core gripper attachment from Packline Materials Handling is specifically designed for lifting coils of material which are particularly difficult to lift using the outer diameter. The lifting attachment uses two fixed serrated fingers. A third moveable serrated finger can be extended by means of a hand-wheel, to grip the coil.

The coil in the image is constructed from metallic material. The lifting solution required stainless steel metal finger lifting attachments. Other materials are available for the lifting fingers depending on the coil material.

The gripper lifting attachment has three eye bolts mounted to the top which allows for lifting by chain or hoist into position.

A built-in torque unit in the hand-wheel ensures that the gripper lifting attachment does not grip too tightly.

Stacker Truck with “Spiderlift” Vacuum Lifting Attachment

This mobile lifting solution is suitable for lifting and moving loads such as glass or panels. Attached to a stacker truck, the ‘spiderlift’ vacuum lifting attachment is able to lift and tilt loads up to 90kg.
This stacker truck allows for heavy duty lifting with ease using its electric lift. The legs are specially designed with rounded corners to stop damage to surroundings, pallets and goods.
The vacuum lifting attachment’s suction pads are adjustable to suit different sized loads using the 250mm diameter pads. The suction pads are adjustable to a transverse movement of 600-1200mm and a longitudinal movement of 960-2150mm.
When used with a stacker truck, the ‘spiderlift’ vacuum lifting attachment uses the power supplied by the stacker truck’s battery, as opposed to needing its own supply.
This lifter allows for sideways loading as well as at set and fixed angles using the locking plate and pin.
This solution was originally designed for a customer to assist in the lifting and handling of the sides and roofs of camper vans for assembly.
