Handling and Rotating Reels of Film or Foil with the Tray and Core Gripper Attachment

The tray attachment with core gripper attachment has been designed to allow the operator to lift a reel from the vertical position, rotate to the horizontal position, followed by rotation of the reel via a rotating tray.

Constructed from stainless steel this reel handling equipment is suitable for clean room environments such as food and drinks processing, and pharma industries.

The lifting attachment uses a frame of box section in stainless steel for structural stability, and an actuator to grip the core of the reel, with a detachable pin, which is mounted to the side of the lifter.

The actuator and pin can be moved away from the reel when it is in the horizontal position on the rotating tray. This allows the operator to move the tray into the necessary position for unloading onto a mandrel or processing machinery, for example.

The actuator is controlled using a remote control pendant, as is the lift and lower mechanism of the lifter.

Specification:

Safe Working Load (SWL): 50kg / 110.23lbs

Attachment Mass: 52kg / 114.64lbs

Maximum Reel Diameter: 350mm / 13.79 inches

Maximum Reel Length: 260mm / 10.24 inches

Stainless Steel Platform Attachment for Lifting Trays of Meat in the Food Processing Industries

The stainless steel platform lifting attachment has been designed with functionality and weight saving in mind. It is designed to lift trays of meat onto a trolley. The trolley is then pushed into an oven for cooking.

Made from one single sheet of Stainless Steel 304, the platform attachment is incredibly strong and capable of lifting large loads with ease.

The platform construction enables the lifting equipment to gain access to the trolley as well as adding strength and stability when the load is lifted, eliminating any bowing or distorting in the material.

Stop pins at the rear of the platform stop any load from sliding backwards against the column of the lifter. These can also be used to fit a cover onto the top of the platform to stop any residue dropping down through the cut outs.

The cut-outs were added in order to allow residue from the meat to run off the product whilst being transported, but as stated above, in some cases, this is not acceptable in the environment and so a covering plate may be added.

Specifications:

Safe Working Load (SWL): 90kg (198.42lbs)

Platform Base Size: 850mm x 740mm (other sizes available) (33.47 x 29.13 inches)

Material: Stainless Steel 303/304

Fixed V-Tray Attachment for Lifting Longer Reels

The fixed V-Tray attachment has been designed specifically to lift very long reels of material such as film or foil, which are often too long to be handled using the core.

Constructed from stainless steel, the tray attachment is strong enough to lift weights of up to 65kg and a roll as long as 2700mm.

This lifter is suitable for the following industries: food processing, beverages, pharmaceutical, medical, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG).

The V Tray lifting attachment incorporates two bolted down V sections which allow the reel to sit between them; ensuring the reel does not rock backwards or forwards and therefore remains stable and on the tray attachment.

The lifter itself has been designed with longer and wider legs to ensure stability and manoeuvrability. The stabilised carriage also ensures ease of use.

Specifications:

Safe Working Load (SWL): 65kg / 143.3lbs

Roll Diameter: 410mm / 16.14 inches

Roll Length: 2700mm / 106.30 inches

Attachment Mass: 28kg / 61.73lbs

Cradle Lifting Attachment with Bespoke Welded Arms for Lifting Tools and Die Blocks

The cradle lifting attachment from Packline, with bespoke designed welded arms, is designed to lift specifically sized tools or die blocks. Constructed from stainless steel, this lifting equipment is suitable for clean room environments.

Constructed from stainless steel welded assembly, this lifting attachment can lift loads to 150kg (330lbs).

The tool being handled has precise sections from which it was to be lifted, hence the cut outs in the cradle lifting attachment were added.

The ‘V’ shape ensures the tool can be balanced between the two arms for working on, servicing, or for placing into a machine or onto a work bench.

The lifter itself was designed to ensure usability and stability. A top adjustable micro-switch was fitted to stop the cradle attachment from being raised up too high. Leg stops were also added so that the lifter could be positioned in the correct alignment for loading and unloading of the tools.

Specifications:

Safe Working Load (SWL): 150kg (330.69lbs)

Attachment Mass: 17kg (37.48lbs)

Construction: Stainless Steel 304
