Drum Handling with Electric Rotation Twin Spindle Attachment

This drum handling solution with electric rotation allows bespoke drums of ingredients and associated lids to be lifted and rotated. This allows the contents of the drum to be emptied at height, as well as enabling the drum itself to be cleaned via the rotation facility. This drum handling solution is suitable for clean room environments found in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Packline’s new electric rotation twin spindle attachment allows the bespoke drum’s head with handles to be lifted and rotated. This feature means the contents of the drum can be emptied or the drum itself can be cleaned in this way.

In the food and pharmaceutical industries, the requirement to lift drums to height in order to empty the contents is becoming more prominent. This is where the lifter’s dual column is ideal. The drum can be lifted up to, or above, the vat or mixer at height, and then rotated to empty the contents.

The design can be modified to suit different sizes of drums with different handle diameters and distances apart.

Specifications:

Safe Working Load: 40kg
Load Centre:  454mm (front column)
Attachment Mass: 21.5kg
Attachment Centre of Mass: 115mm (from column)
