Roll and Drum Handling with Forward Tipping Clamp Attachment

New to Packline Materials Handling, the overhead horizontal rotation forward tipping clamp attachment can be used to lift drums or rolls up to a maximum safe working load of 50kg.

The clamp attachment allows the drum or roll to be lifted and rotated by 360 degrees horizontally and as well as vertically, via the forward tipping mechanism.

On the clamp attachment back plate there is an indexing plunger that, when disengaged, will allow the operator to rotate this back plate. This will re-orientate the drum or roll into the horizontal if required.

At each side of the forward tipping clamp attachment the pads are locked into place using lever indexing plungers. By releasing the plungers the drum can be easily manually rotated from the horizontal to the vertical or vice versa as required.

Specifications:

Safe working load (SWL): 50kg
Minimum Diameter Load: 230mm
Maximum Diameter Load: 600mm

Packline Materials Handling are able to provide bespoke lifting and handling solutions for materials handling issues involving rolls, reels and drums; by creating new concepts or tailoring existing lifting and handling equipment to meet specific requirements.
