Handling Reels of Material with Rotating Cradle Arms

New to Packline Materials Handling, the ‘rotating cradle arms’ lifting attachment enables rolls or reels of material, handled by the reel’s internal mandrel, to be lowered in to a shrink-wrap machine. This lifting solution is suitable for clean room environments where reels of film need to be lowered into shrink-wrap machines and the lifting attachment easily rotated out from the machinery.

The rotating cradle arms allow the reel or roll of film or foil to be lowered into place. A hand-wheel allows the operator to rotate the arms out of the way and then raise them out from the machinery.

The lifting and lowering of the attachment is operated by push buttons mounted to the lifter. The rotation of the cradle arms is operated by an easy to use hand-wheel and gearbox.

Coffin Lifter

New to Packline Materials Handling, the coffin lifter is a bespoke attachment that can be permanently mounted to a heavy duty stacker truck.

This coffin lifting attachment is designed to support and rotate coffins when they need to be moved from one area to another. It is possible to slide the coffin away from the attachment and onto a shelf or stand as required.

There is a rotation function to reorientate the coffin as desired. The front and rear rollers have a brake system to ensure that the coffin is secure whilst in transit.

The coffin lifter has an electric lift, and can be manually manoeuvred. Electric drive versions are also available. The maximum lifting height for inserting the coffin into racking is 2140mm.

The coffin lifting equipment is fitted with counterbalance weights to ensure stability.
