Vacuum Lifting Equipment with the Two-Joint Swing Arm

The vacuum lifter with the two joint swing arm attachment enables users to repeatedly lift and accurately place a wide variety of loads including paper and plastic sacks, boxes, sheets of material, crates and cartons, stone and building materials.

The bags or sacks can be split and opened without losing suction from the vacuum lifting head.

An electrically driven vacuum pump provides both lifting and suction functions and a wide range of quickly interchangeable vacuum heads is available.

The two joint swing arm attachment can continuously rotate, and the slide mechanism on the hinged arm gives a full range of movements.

The vacuum lifting heads have a 'fingertip' control bar so the operator uses minimum effort to move heavy loads.

Safety is of paramount importance, and in the event of a power failure, the load is gently lowered to the ground before the suction head will release.

The vacuum lifters can be specified in stainless steel for use in the food, drinks and pharmaceutical industries.

With a remotely installed power pack, the vacuum lifters can also be installed in hazardous areas.

Specifications:

Maximum Standard Safe Working Load = 100kg
Maximum Standard Arm Reach = 2500mm

Actuated Roll Lifting Equipment with Rotating Tray Attachment

The actuated roll lifter incorporates a central lifting column whilst maintaining a compact and functional design.

This bespoke roll lifting solution allows a lifting truck to carry a roll underneath a conveyor belt with a restricted height of 750mm and then lift it above its own height to unload.

The telescopic column is operated using a pendant control with two push buttons. The pendant control is mounted to the side of the truck for easy storage.

Within the unit, a control box is used to operate the column. The control box will sound an alarm when the batteries reach 17-18v DC and the unit requires recharging.

This roll handling solution incorporates a rotating tray attachment. However, a number of different lifting attachments can be mounted to this lifting unit including a single spindle, twin spindle, cradle attachment or platform attachment.

The roll lifter is constructed from aluminium, with a stainless steel chassis and lifting attachment, meaning that the actuated lifter is suitable for clean room environments such as those found in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Specifications:

Safe Working Load = 40kg

Overall Height = 750mm (when in lowered position)

Maximum Roll Diameter = 390mm

Minimum Roll Length = 420mm

Lifting Height Range = 375mm to 955mm

Lifting Speed = full lift of 580mm; 40 seconds.

The ‘Express’ Glass Lifting Trolley

The ‘Express’ glass lifting trolley is designed to allow a glazier to unload, transport and install large plates of glass. This glass lifter has a lifting capacity of 150 Kg. It can rotate glass measuring up to 3000 mm. The glass lifting trolley has adjustments to allow for side and top pocket glazing.

Handling glass plates and windows can create health and safety issues due to the weight and dimension of the plates and the uneven grounds of construction sites. The methods to deliver plates haven’t changed in decades even with windows now getting heavier and larger.

The Express Glass Lifter is an innovative, small portable lifter that allows one man to move plates weighing up 100kg or two men up to 150kg. The compact Express glass lifting trolley is loaded onto a truck in two 15kg parts and easily assembled in under a minute.

Once assembled, this glass lifter can unload plates off the truck and then transport the plates and windows on site. The large 330mm pneumatic wheels allow for travelling over rough grounds on construction sites. The wheelbase can be adjusted from 54 cm to 80cm allowing for narrow walkways on-site.

Two additional features of the Express allow the plate or window to be rotated 360 degrees and secondly the operator can also index the glass allowing him to move through standard 90cm wide doorways.

Mobile Glass Lifting Trolley

The ‘Mule’ glass lifting trolley is designed to assist glass workers to unload, rotate and transport large plates of glass in-house. It has a lifting capacity of 300 Kg. This glass lifting trolley can rotate glass measuring up to 4400 mm. The Mule glass lifter has a 12 volt battery powered vacuum pump.

The Mule glass lifter allows glazing shops to handle heavy glass on and off edgework machines, glass dollies and trucks with greater safety and ease. The Mule glass lifter has a lifting capacity of 300 Kg and can be operated by one person.

The glass lifting trolley can rotate glass 360 degrees allowing long and heavy sheets of glass to be loaded onto an edgework machine.

The Mule is operated by a portable DC vacuum pump applying vacuum to four 11 inch Woods cups. The vacuum pump arms can be swivelled allowing for long narrow plates to be handled safely.

The Mule complies with all relevant European Directives.

  Benefits of using The Mule:

•Used as an alternative to an overhead crane to handle heavy sheets of glass

•Save money as the Mule is about one quarter the cost of a basic overhead crane

•Reduce manpower when rotating plates of glass needed for edgework machines

•Reduced health and safety risks due to reduced hazardous manual handling of glass

•Improved productivity as less people are required to do the same work

•Use in areas of the glazing shop not serviced by an overhead crane

•Safely load trucks outside the glazing shop

Pallet Dispensing and Stacking System, Q Pall-Evator

Packline are UK distributors of the 'Q Systems' 'Pall-Evator' pallet stacking systems. Unlike most other types of pallet stackers and dispensers the Q Pallet dispenser doesn’t require compressed air, only a power supply is needed. Therefore these pallet dispensers can be placed anywhere, the only requirement is a power point nearby.

The pallet dispenser automatically stacks or de-stacks one pallet at a time. One push on the control panel changes the function from stacking to de-stacking mode. Also, it is possible to load or unload a whole stack of pallets at once.

These electric pallet dispensers are suitable for all pallet types.

The range of pallet stacking systems include the standard ‘Pall-Evator’, the ‘Pall-Evator’ for 1/2-Euro pallets, the ‘Pall-Evator’ Double Deep to load or unload at once 2 stacks of pallets placed end to end; and the ‘Pall-Evator’ Tower. To complete the range, the Pallet Dispenser IN-LINE system is designed for integration into a conveyor system.

Electric pallet stackers and de-stackers are available for all pallet types. Benefits include:

·         Optimised pallet flow

·         Cost reduction on pallet handling

·         Time saving per pallet

·         Increased efficiency

·         Less truck driving

·         Improved indoor climate

·         No manual pallet handling

·         Improved working conditions
