The die block lifter with
twin spindle attachment uses two spindles with a die block on each. These die
blocks can in turn have chains added to attach to the die.
Within the food and
pharmaceutical manufacturing industries there are many types of production line
with different tooling and die blocks depending on the product being run on
that processing line.
Many production lines have
a range of dies and tools. The problem is handling these heavy items. This is
where the Packline ‘Compac’ Lifter and its range of attachments can solve the
problem.
Often, access to the dies
and tools is difficult as they are situated in the middle of the production
lines. These access issues can be resolved using suitable lifting equipment.
The chains can be hooked
onto or underneath the die which is then lifted via the ‘Compac’ Lifter. There
is a support bar across the centre, between the two spindles, for added
stability during lifting and moving.
The die blocks and the
support bar are both secured in place with ‘star knobs’, meaning that they are
easy to remove enabling the lifter to be used as a standard lifter with twin
spindle attachment.
